Sandiaga Uno continues to inspire Indonesian esports athletes

Jakarta - Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Indonesian Esports Executive Board (PBESI) Sandiaga Uno continues to encourage Indonesian esports athletes who are holding a national training center (pelatnas) at the Jeep Station Indonesia (JSI) Auditorium, Mega Mendung, Bogor, West Java.

In his official statement, Wednesday, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) visited the national training site for the Red and White esports team on Tuesday (8/3). PBESI continues to galvanize athletes to achieve brilliant achievements at the SEA Games Hanoi, Vietnam, which will take place on May 12-23.

"I see the enthusiasm of athletes and coaches as well as officials will ensure our achievements. We must show the best performance," said Sandiaga Uno.

On this occasion, he also appreciated the entire range of esports teams, including PBESI, for the very good management of the national training.

Sandiaga hopes that Indonesia can achieve maximum results at the Hanoi SEA Games, so that it can also spur economic revival.

"Directions from the General Chair of PBESI (Budi Gunawan) that we must show the best performance and we hope that this can be achieved as an economic revival for Indonesia after the COVID-19 pandemic," said Sandiaga.

The Indonesian esports training was attended by 128 athletes. The national training center at Jeep Station Indonesia was chosen because it is private, far from the crowds, but close to Jakarta.

Jeep Station Indonesia also has complete facilities, ranging from sports facilities, multipurpose rooms, exercise rooms, internet, open and outbound areas, customizable food and drinks, and a very large number of rooms.

The athletes who are prepared will take part in eight games that are competed in the Hanoi SEA Games esports sport.

The eight games include PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends Bang-Bang, FIFA Online 4, Arena of Valor, and Crossfire. Then Wild Rift, League of Legends and Free Fire.
