A massive demonstration in Chicago condemning the Israeli attacks on our people

Washington WAFA - Hundreds of Palestinian and Arab communities, in addition to foreign solidarity activists, participated in a mass demonstration in the American city of Chicago, condemning the Israeli attack on the Palestinian people, especially in Jerusalem.

Participants in the march, which was organized by the Chicago branch of the Coalition for Justice in Palestine, raised Palestinian flags and forced the city's police to close Michigan's main thoroughfare for an hour.

The demonstration roamed the main streets in the city center, and the participants called for an end to the repeated attacks by the occupation forces on worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The participants called on the US government to stop applying double standards when it comes to Palestinian rights, and the need to intervene to end the Israeli occupation and establish a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

US police announced that one person was killed and three others were injured in a shooting at a gas station in Portland, Oregon.

Witnesses said the four victims were standing outside a gas station near the nearby Gresham border when a car pulled up and fired at them.

Police confirmed that a man was found dead at the scene, while three minors were taken to area hospitals, one of whom was seriously injured.

The man who was fatally shot was not identified, but officers at the scene confirmed that all four injured were teenagers.

The shooting comes a day after locals told a city council meeting in Portland that putting an end to the shootings had become a "top priority".
