Minister of Health urges youth to prevent drug abuse  Jakarta (ANTARA) - Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin invites all youth in the country to play an active role in drug prevention and eradication efforts in order to create a superior and quality generation.  "To be more productive and competitive, let's together prevent drug abuse," said the Minister of Health at the webinar "It's Time for Youth to Have a Voice" which was accessed online in Jakarta, Saturday.  The Minister of Health explained that youth is the next generation of the nation's hope that plays an important role in the country's development program.  "In 2030 Indonesia will achieve a demographic bonus, with the dominance of the productive age community, especially including youth, it will play an important role in supporting national development programs," he said.  Budi added that the government continues to make a number of efforts to increase awareness and understanding of youth to play an active role in creating a superior and quality generation.  "At this time there are several problems related to risky behavior that exist among young people, for example problems of violence, bullying, drug abuse to the spread of sexually transmitted diseases," he said.  Based on data from the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the prevalence of drug abuse, psychotropic and other addictive substances has increased from 1.8 percent in 2019 to 1.95 percent. in 2021.  Meanwhile, according to data, the highest prevalence is in the 15-24 year age group.  "Regarding the webinar with the theme of youth health and welfare through prevention of drug abuse and prevention of other risky behaviors, it is hoped that there will be good collaboration between the government, NGOs and the community," he said.  The Minister of Health also invites all parties to build a health-conscious young generation through the Healthy Living Community Movement (Germas).  "To be more productive and competitive, let's together prevent drug abuse and behave positively in order to create a golden generation towards advanced Indonesia," he said. Jakarta (ANTARA) - Menteri Kesehatan Budi Gunadi Sadikin mengajak seluruh pemuda di Tanah Air untuk berperan aktif dalam upaya pencegahan dan pemberantasan narkoba guna mewujudkan generasi unggul dan berkualitas.  "Agar lebih produktif dan berdaya saing mari bersama mencegah penyalahgunaan narkoba," kata Menkes pada acara webinar "Saatnya Pemuda Bersuara" yang diakses secara daring di Jakarta, Sabtu.  Menkes menjelaskan bahwa pemuda merupakan generasi penerus harapan bangsa yang berperan penting dalam program pembangunan negara.  "Pada Tahun 2030 Indonesia akan mencapai bonus demografi, dengan adanya dominasi masyarakat usia produktif, khususnya di dalamnya juga termasuk pemuda, maka akan memegang peranan penting dalam mendukung program pembangunan nasional," katanya.  Budi menambahkan, pemerintah terus melakukan sejumlah upaya guna meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman para pemuda untuk berperan aktif mewujudkan terciptanya generasi unggul dan berkualitas.  "Pada saat ini terdapat beberapa masalah terkait perilaku berisiko yang ada di tengah para pemuda, misalkan masalah kekerasan, perundungan, penyalahgunaan narkoba hingga penyebaran penyakit menular seksual," katanya.  Berdasarkan data dari Badan Narkotika Nasional (BNN), Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN) serta Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) menunjukkan angka prevalensi gangguan penyalahgunaan narkoba, psikotropika dan zat adiktif lainnya meningkat dari 1,8 persen pada 2019 menjadi 1,95 persen pada 2021.  Sementara menurut data prevalensi terbanyak ada dalam kelompok usia 15-24 tahun.  "Terkait dengan webinar dengan tema kesehatan dan kesejahteraan pemuda melalui pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkoba dan pencegahan perilaku berisiko lainnya maka diharapkan akan ada kolaborasi yang baik antara pemerintah, NGO dan masyarakat," katanya.  Menkes juga mengajak semua pihak untuk membangun generasi muda yang sadar kesehatan melalui gerakan masyarakat hidup sehat (Germas).  "Agar lebih produktif dan berdaya saing mari bersama mencegah penyalahgunaan narkoba dan berperilaku dengan positif guna mewujudkan generasi emas menuju Indonesia maju," katanya.
