The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the possibility of performing Umrah for those who hold all kinds of visas and who come from all countries of the world for the purpose of tourism.
This step comes within the framework of the efforts exerted to facilitate the arrival procedures for pilgrims to perform the rites of Umrah and to enrich the cultural and religious experience of pilgrims, in accordance with the objectives of the Vision 2030 programs, according to what the ministry announced.
The ministry has provided electronic platforms such as "Maqam" and "Saudi Spirit" to facilitate the issuance of the Umrah visa for pilgrims coming from outside the Kingdom and the selection of the available package of services.
Those who issued immediate visas upon their arrival at a Saudi airport within the countries eligible for electronic visas, and those coming from the United States of America, the United Kingdom and the Schengen countries, can perform the Umrah ritual with ease and ease, provided that it is used once, and that it bears an entry stamp from the issuing country.
The ministry clarified that those who have obtained a family visit visa and a personal visit can easily perform Umrah by booking an appointment through the “Umrahna” application during their visit to their relatives and friends in the Kingdom, by applying on the unified national platform for visas.
To perform Umrah, it is required to obtain comprehensive health insurance for visitors, which includes coverage of treatment costs from infection with the Corona virus, personal accidents that result in death or disability, flight delays or cancellations, and other matters.
