The union said in a statement on Facebook: "Go to the mercy of God, His Eminence, Imam Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the founding president of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, who dedicated his life to explaining the rulings of Islam."  The statement continued: "The Islamic nation has lost a realizing scholar from among its loyal and virtuous scholars. We ask God Almighty to forgive him and have mercy on him extensively and pardon him, reward him with the best reward, honor his abode, enter him into the Paradise of Paradise, and resurrect him with the prophets and the truthful ones, and the good of those are companions, and to inspire his family and relatives And his fans and colleagues patience and solace, he is the best of the Lord and the best responder.. Brief biography  Al-Qaradawi was born in a village in the Gharbia Governorate in Egypt in 1926 and completed the memorization of the Noble Qur’an, and mastered the provisions of its recitation, when he is under ten years old. Then he joined the institutes of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, where he completed his primary and secondary studies.  Al-Qaradawi joined the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion at Al-Azhar University, from which he obtained his high degree in the year 1952-1953, and then obtained the international degree with a teaching license from the Faculty of Arabic Language in 1954.  Al-Qaradawi continued his higher education in religious and linguistic studies, and in 1973 he obtained a doctorate from the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion, on: “Zakat and its impact on solving social problems.”  Al-Qaradawi is a scholar, author, and investigator, as described by the scholar Abu al-Hasan al-Nadawi in his book “Risaalat al-Alam” and his books have weight and influence in the Islamic world, most notably: the book “The Lawful and the Prohibited in Islam, which was commissioned by the sheikhs of Al-Azhar, and the book “The Jurisprudence of Zakat” in two parts, which is a study An encyclopedic comparison of the provisions of Zakat, its secrets, and its effects on reforming society, in the light of the Qur'an and Sunnah.
