Meteor showers occur because the Earth, while revolving around the sun, can pass through the remains of some comets or asteroids that obstruct its path. We see and enjoy it.

For this reason, meteor showers have specific dates every year that coincide with Earth’s encounter with those remnants, and in October the Earth witnesses a passage between the remnants of a periodic comet called “21P/Giacobini-Zinner” (21P/Giacobini-Zinner) in the second week of the month. This refers to the meteors falling on the night of October 9, in a scene seen in the Arab world, and the phenomenon is called The Draconid Meteor Shower.

How do I see meteors?

Meteor spotting doesn't require any complicated tools, all you need is something to lie on and hold your head up to the sky. In the case of the meteor shower, the meteors tend to come out from the side of the heavenly north, while in the case of the orbs they tend to come out a little from the south, but in all cases the meteors appear in all the sky.

It is always preferable to follow the meteors in remote areas far from the illumination of cities, where you can get the best possible chance of observing them, especially in the case of the presence of the moon or the weak rain. The meteor shower of dragons you can go out to see at any time throughout the night starting in the evening, while the orbs improve with the approach of dawn.
