The student complained when she returned, later, to her uncle, who in turn went to school to protest.  During a verbal altercation between the teacher and the uncle, the latter mentioned the murder of Samuel Baty, a professor of history and geography two years ago, for the same reason.  The teacher claimed that there was a death threat, and immediately filed a complaint against the student and her uncle, which led to the opening of a judicial investigation on October 7.  The girl was accused of "defending terrorism", while her uncle was charged with "threatening to kill a person responsible for a public service mission", according to the Public Prosecutor of the Republic in Mulhouse, according to the press.  The girl and her uncle were placed in pretrial detention, but only the uncle is currently brought before the investigative judge and placed under judicial supervision.  The incident coincides with the commemoration of the anniversary of the killing of Samuel Baty in French schools, on Friday and Monday, 14 and 17 October.  And Patti was stabbed on October 16, 2020 in a heinous killing near his school in a suburb of Paris, by a refugee of Chechen origin, after displaying caricatures offensive to the Holy Prophet.
