Saudi Minister: Washington is a strong ally of the Kingdom, and we will overcome recent tensions with it

Saudi Minister: Washington is a strong ally of the Kingdom, and we will overcome recent tensions with it The Saudi Minister of Investment said, on Tuesday, that the United States is a strong ally of his country, and institutions from both countries are working together, and "the relations of the two peoples are excellent and we will overcome these recent tensions." Saudi Investment Minister Khalid Al-Falih affirmed, on Tuesday, that "the United States is a strong ally of the Kingdom and we will overcome the recent tensions with it." Al-Falih said during the "Future Investment Initiative" conference in Riyadh that "the Kingdom is a friend to everyone and has wonderful relations with America and Britain," according to the official Saudi news channel. He added, "The United States is a strong ally, our institutions are working together, the relations of the two peoples are excellent, and we will overcome these recent tensions." "Partners in Asia, Japan and China, are an integral part of the economy in trade and investment," Al-Falih added. The minister stated that "the transformation on the energy level has accelerated due to climate change, hoping that countries will be able to deal with the new world order in light of security and political changes." On October 5, the "OPEC" alliance decided to reduce oil production by two million barrels per day, starting from next November, which increased oil prices by about 10% before declining slightly. The administration of US President Joe Biden criticized the position of Saudi Arabia, one of the largest oil producers, and considered it biased towards Russia and threatened to re-evaluate relations with the Kingdom, which Riyadh has repeatedly denied, stressing that the decision is "purely economic" to control the markets.
