The Muslim Revolutionary Organization says that religion is being used by the military council The Myanmar Muslim Revolutionary Force announced today that the coup military council is using religion to do politics. Yesterday, the shooting that killed three civilians at the foot of Kyaik Hiro Mountain was the handiwork of the local PDF forces, the military council reported in the newspapers published today. It has been added that the Pinnyakone Rakhine Ja May Mosque also supports the military council's accusation. Ko Soe Ne Oo, a mosque pioneer member of the Burmese Muslim Revolutionary Force, told RFA that such a statement misrepresents Burmese Muslims. "Even Muslims objected to what they (the military council) did without sense. They did this because they wanted to delete the names of the PDFs. We object. We will take appropriate action. The army formed a multi-religious group and placed them in possession. The mosque, which is sacred to Muslims, was dragged into it." He also said that the official of the Pinnegone Arakan Jama Mosque is a person who has good relations with the military council. RFA contacted the mosque to inquire, but could not be contacted. The Burmese Muslim Revolutionary Forces also stated that standing with dictators is not in line with Islam. After the military coup, Muslims are also participating in anti-military activities. At least 65 Muslims were killed by the military council. There are many people who have been arrested. Islamic religious buildings have also been destroyed, according to the Myanmar Muslim Revolutionary Forces.
