Syrian media said at dawn on Thursday that the sounds of explosions were heard in Damascus, indicating that it was an Israeli bombardment.
And official media reported that the Syrian air defense media confronted hostile targets in the airspace of Damascus.
SANA said that the nature of the explosion in Damascus is being verified.
An account on "Telegram" called "Damascus Diaries" stated that smoke rose in the vicinity of Al-Midan neighborhood - Kafr Sousse, after hearing the sounds of shelling in the sky of the capital.
Syrian territory is exposed to air strikes, which Damascus says Israel is behind, while Tel Aviv does not confirm or deny that it is behind these repeated attacks.
Syria repeatedly calls on the UN Security Council and the United Nations to condemn the Israeli attacks on its territory.

The Saudi Press Agency said that the Kingdom agreed to a memorandum on granting Saudi Arabia the status of a dialogue partner in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The organization is a political and security union of countries occupying a large area of Eurasia, including China, India and Russia.
The organization was founded in 2001 between Russia, China and the former Soviet Union countries in Central Asia, and expanded to include India and Pakistan, looking to play a greater role in confronting Western influence in the region. Iran also signed full membership documents to the organization last year.
Sources told Reuters that Saudi Arabia's accession to the organization was discussed during Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to the Kingdom, indicating that "the status of a dialogue partner will be a first step before granting the Kingdom full membership in the medium term."
The decision comes after Saudi Aramco announced on Tuesday that it had increased its investment in China by several billion dollars by completing a planned joint venture in northeastern China and acquiring a stake in a private petrochemical group.
