Over the course of two nights, the Israeli police stormed the Al-Qibli prayer hall in Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem, and beat the worshipers and stationed, and arrested hundreds of them.

Israel bombs southern Lebanon and UNIFIL says that the two sides "do not want war"

On Thursday, 3 rockets were fired from Lebanese territory towards Israel for the second time, after 34 rockets were announced by the Israeli army that they were launched from Lebanon towards the Galilee region (northern Israel).


While no Lebanese party claimed responsibility, the Israeli newspaper "Haaretz" (privately) reported that it was estimated that the rocket fire came in response to the recent events in Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Israeli army spokesman, Avichai Adraei, held the Lebanese government and Hamas responsible for firing rockets from Lebanon, and said that he was also examining the possibility of Iran's involvement in this incident.

Hamas condemns the bombing of Lebanon

In a statement issued early Friday, the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, condemned the Israeli aggression against Lebanon by targeting the vicinity of the city of Tyre, in the south of the country.

The statement said: "We condemn in the strongest terms the blatant Zionist aggression against Lebanon by targeting the vicinity of Tire at dawn today."

"They don't want war."

The United Nations Interim Force in South Lebanon (UNIFIL) confirmed in a statement at dawn Friday, following the bombing launched by Israel on southern Lebanon, that the two sides "do not want war," calling on them to calm down.

And the international force, which is deployed in the south of the country to separate Israel and Lebanon after several conflicts, announced that the Israeli army had informed it of its intention to respond to the missiles launched from southern Lebanon, before explosions sounded in the vicinity of the city of Tyre. She explained that "both sides said they did not want war."
