In a speech marking the opening ceremony of the Boao Forum for Asia, the Chinese premier stressed "the need to support the (Chinese) global initiative in the field of security, and to resist the misuse of unilateral sanctions, and attempts to implement and spread national legislation outside borders."
Li Qiang also confirmed his country's rejection of the policy of the conflicting blocs, when it comes to choosing between this or that party.
The prime minister also made it clear that Beijing supports peaceful means to resolve disputes between countries, adding, "We need to work together and strengthen solidarity to maintain world peace and stability."
He also stressed that the international community should strive and work together to collectively promote global development.
