A Palestinian report stated that dozens of settlers performed Talmudic rituals this Saturday morning in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Today, the Palestinian News and Information Agency (Wafa) quoted Jerusalemites as saying, “Dozens of settlers performed Talmudic rituals at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque and in Souq Al-Qattanin, coinciding with the first day of the Jewish Throne Day.”

They added, “The occupation police forced the merchants on Al-Wad Street and Al-Qataneen Market to close their shops, to facilitate the settlers’ raid.”

According to the agency, “The occupation exploits Jewish holidays to impose a siege, tighten military measures at checkpoints, and impede citizens’ access to the holy places in occupied Jerusalem.”



Turkiye condemns the "heinous" terrorist attack in Pakistan and calls for mercy for the victims

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement its condemnation of the terrorist attack that targeted a gathering to commemorate the Prophet’s birthday in Pakistan, killing more than 50 people and wounding more than 100 people. The Ministry offered condolences to the families of the victims and called for a speedy recovery for the injured.

The statement said: “ We learned with great sadness that more than 50 people were killed and more than 100 people were injured in an attack targeting a gathering to commemorate the Prophet’s birthday on September 29 at a mosque in the Mastung area in the Balochistan province of western Pakistan.”

The Foreign Ministry added in its statement: “We share the grief of the government and people of Pakistan and denounce the heinous attack that targeted a place of worship on this holy day. We pray for mercy for the deceased and offer condolences to their families, and we hope for a speedy recovery for the injured.”

The statement stressed that "in the face of this treacherous terrorist attack that targeted the peace and stability of sisterly and friendly Pakistan, Turkey will continue with all determination to support Pakistan in its war against terrorism."

On Friday, 54 people were killed and dozens injured in a toll that could rise in two bombings in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces in Pakistan during celebrations commemorating the Prophet’s birthday.


The death toll from the explosion in Balochistan province, southwestern Pakistan, rose to 52 people, while dozens of others were injured, according to what security and medical sources confirmed.

According to the police, the explosion occurred near a mosque in the Mastung area in Balochistan, without further details.

Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti said that rescue and relief operations were underway after this "heinous act," adding: "We are committed to a zero-tolerance policy toward terrorists."

For his part, President Arif Alvi condemned the attack and asked the authorities to provide all possible assistance to the wounded and the families of the victims.

In a separate incident, Bilal Faizi, spokesman for Rescue Squad 1122, said that a second explosion occurred inside a mosque in the Hangu area in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province (northwest), according to Anadolu.

Faizi added that at least two people were killed and 6 others were injured in the bombing, without further details.
