Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak announced that Russia will continue until the end of 2023 a voluntary reduction in oil exports to global markets by 300,000 barrels per day.
Novak said in statements to reporters: “Russia will continue until the end of December 2023 an additional voluntary reduction in supplies of oil and petroleum products to global markets by 300,000 barrels per day, which came into effect last September and October in 2023.”

Novak added that a market analysis will be conducted next month to determine whether to deepen the cut or increase oil production.

The Deputy Prime Minister also confirmed that the additional voluntary reduction aims to strengthen the measures of OPEC+ countries to maintain the stability and balance of oil markets.
