Undefeated boxer Artur Beterbiev was met in Grozny

Artur Beterbiev defeated Briton Smith and defended three championship titles

At the Grozny airport we met the world light heavyweight champion in three prestigious versions, Artur Beterbiev, who defeated the British Callum Smith. 

The Minister of the Chechen Republic for Physical Culture, Sports and Youth Policy Isa Ibragimov, the First Deputy Minister of the Chechen Republic for Physical Culture, Sports and Youth Policy Akhmat Kadyrov, the  President of the Boxing Federation of the Chechen Republic, General Director of the Republican Sports Club "Akhmat" Ramzan Vismuradov, and as well as other officials and numerous fans.

The fight with Callum Smith, which took place in Quebec, ended in a technical knockout in the seventh round.

For Artur Beterbiev, the victory over Smith was the 20th in his professional career. Beterbiev now has a record of 20 fights, 20 wins and 20 knockouts.

Beterbiev holds titles according to the World Boxing Council (WBC), the International Boxing Federation (IBF) and the World Boxing Organization (WBO).

The closing ceremony of the Dubai Conference was held this Friday evening, at the Atlantis The Palm Resort, in the Emirati city of Dubai, which included the 2023 Globe Soccer Awards ceremony.
