A lounge at San Francisco Airport was closed following protests against the war on Gaza

Protests against the Israeli war on Gaza led to the closure of the international terminal at San Francisco International Airport. The demonstrators demanded a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and to refrain from supplying weapons to Israel.

The international terminal at San Francisco International Airport in the United States of America was closed yesterday, Wednesday, as a result of protests against the Israeli war on Gaza.

ABC News estimated that the number of demonstrators who blocked the road outside the airport exceeded 300.

Airport officials said that the international terminal remained open, but passengers' routes were changed and modified when travel procedures were carried out to avoid protesters.

Over the past months, protests demanding a ceasefire in Gaza took place in American cities and near airports and bridges in New York City and Los Angeles. Marches were also organized in Washington and protests were held in front of the White House headquarters.
