Chief Justice of the Supreme Court DY Chandrachud has said that mutual respect is very important for equality and harmony in the country. He was addressing a program organized by the Law Ministry in Bikaner on Saturday (March 9) titled 'Our Constitution, Our Respect'.

The Chief Justice said on the occasion that the feeling of brotherhood is very important to maintain equality in the country. According to the spirit of the Constitution, we should respect each other. If people fight among themselves, how will the country develop?" The Chief Justice also said that "the framers of the Constitution have given the highest position to human dignity and respect." Baba Saheb Ambedkar ensured that the constitution upholds the spirit of fraternity and dignity of the individual along with justice, freedom and equality.

In the program held at the auditorium of Maharaja Ganga Singh University, the CJI also said that there is a connection between democracy and the Constitution. By understanding the constitution, the consciousness of democracy also develops. The constitution needs to be communicated to every citizen of the country. The spirit of the Constitution should be conveyed to every individual." Regarding judicial decisions, the CJI said, "Decisions in any court of the country should be in the local language." He said, "When I was in Delhi. If I am sitting and making a decision for a lawyer or a judge, it may be in a specific language, but if I am making a decision for a common man, it should be in simple language.

The Chief Justice also announced the launch of an e-court facility in Bikaner and said that lawyers here will now be able to practice from their own city. But this is not the Supreme Court of Tilak Marg, it is the Supreme Court of India. Similarly, the Rajasthan High Court is not just of Jaipur or Jodhpur, it is of entire Rajasthan."
