Juan Robles, a member of the plaintiff's legal team, said: “The public prosecutor announced that the four people who attended this trial as defendants will be placed in pretrial detention.

He continued: “The four persons will be deprived of their liberty in the custody of the Department of Crimes against Individuals in the province of Tucumán.”

The woman's defense added that the case was classified as "intentional and painful sexual assault by two or more people."

Sosa denied these allegations on his Instagram account on March 8.

Velez suspended the four players after prosecutors began the investigation.
