The Sultanate of Oman ranks fortieth in the media index

London : The Sultanate of Oman achieved progress in the media index for the second year in a row, ranking 40th globally after advancing 6 places in the global soft power index issued by the British Brand Finance for the year 2024 AD, compared to 46th place in 2023 AD.

The Oman News Agency stated that the report showed the Sultanate of Oman’s progress in other sub-indices, such as advancing 10 places in the Sustainable Future Index and 5 places in the Positive Impact Index, and recorded a slight decline in the Global Soft Power Index to rank 49th in the world.

In its assessment of 193 countries for the current year, the Foundation focuses on a number of indicators, including the future of the global economy and the role of soft power in attracting investments, trade, media, heritage, culture and tourism.
