Secretary General of the Islamic Association of Islam Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Aisa visited Ali Bin Abi Talib Orphanage in Islamabad on Thursday and celebrated Eid with the children.

The Secretary General of Kontakt Alam-e-Islami, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Aesa, is on a visit to Pakistan these days , during which he also visited a large orphanage in Islamabad on Thursday night and celebrated Eid with the children.

Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Eisa arrived in Pakistan on April 10 on the official invitation of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif.

On the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr, he gave a sermon at the Faisal Mosque in the federal capital, Islamabad, which was heard by a large number of people. According to Arab News, during the sermon, Dr. Al-Eisa appealed to Muslims to keep the Palestinians close to their hearts and keep them in their prayers while celebrating Eid.

On social media website X, Muslim World League said regarding the activities of the Secretary General of Kontakt Alam-e-Islami, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Eisa, that he visited the Ali Bin Abi Talib Orphanage in Islamabad on Thursday.

In this orphanage, where there are more than four thousand orphans, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Eisa received a grand welcome.


'The secret of the nation's success lies in unity'

In his sermon on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr, the Secretary General of the Islamic Association of Islam, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Aisa said that the secret of the success of the religion lies in unity. Make the foundation of this unity and love from your homes. Love and respect your family and train your children well.'

He said, 'People, love one another for the sake of Allah. This is also the order of Allah and the Messenger of Allah has taught mutual love.'

In the sermon, he prayed for the oppressed Muslims of Gaza and asked that Allah help them and give Muslims the ability to help the people of Palestine through wisdom, wisdom and prayers.

Who is Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Isa?

Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Al Issa completed his education at Imam Muhammad Bin Saud Islamic University, where he earned a Master's degree in Comparative Judicial Studies (Constitutional Law) and a Ph.D.

After that, Dr. Al-Eisa held many public positions in Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Eisa is known as a leading global voice on moderate Islam. He is also the head of the Intellectual Warfare Center, an organization affiliated with the Saudi Ministry of Defense dedicated to countering extremism and terrorist ideologies.

The American Jewish Committee, the American Sephardi Federation and the Combat Anti-Semitism Movement have praised him for his leadership and efforts to combat anti-Semitism, Islamophobia and hate speech worldwide.

The American Jewish Committee (AJC) has called Dr. Al-Eisa 'the Muslim world's most powerful voice promoting moderate Islam'.

Dr. Al-Eisa assumed his current position as the Secretary General of the Muslim World League in August 2016.

In the same year, he became the Chairman of the International Body of Muslim Scholars and a member of the Senior Scholars Organization in Saudi Arabia.

During his tenure, the Muslim World League has increased the representation of different sects of Islam in the Muslim World League Supreme Council and other subsidiary bodies to ensure the inclusion of all Muslim communities around the world.

He has also been honored with numerous national and international awards for his leadership in promoting interfaith dialogue and moderation and countering extremism and hate speech.

In October 2022, he was awarded Pakistan's 'Hilal Pakistan' award by President Dr. Arif Alvi for his outstanding work in combating Islamophobia.

His efforts in spreading the peaceful message of Islam, removing misunderstandings and promoting Islam effectively were appreciated.

What is Contact Islamic World?

There is an Islamic organization in the world which has been engaged since 1962 to unite the Muslims and resolve the factors that divide the Muslim community.

The name of this international organization is Kontakt Alam-e-Islami (Muslim World League) whose members are from all Islamic countries and mosques. Its head office is located in Makkah, which strives to clarify the truth of Islam and promote friendship among nations.

The organization is governed by a Constituent Council consisting of 60 members from leading Islamic organizations. The day-to-day management of the MWL is handled by a Secretary-General, who reports to the Constituent Council.

Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Eisa is the current Secretary General of this organization and is currently on a nine-day visit to Pakistan. He is a respected figure in the world of Islam and as a result of his services around the world, he has been awarded many highest honors.

In 2019, Dr. Al-Eisa clarified his agenda by writing an article in the famous American magazine 'Newsweek' and wrote: 'As the Secretary General of the Muslim World League, I joined with Pope Francis at the Vatican to promote interfaith understanding. What is the journey of?

'I visited the Grand Synagogue in Paris and the Holocaust Memorial Museum in America. I welcomed a high-level delegation of American evangelical Christian leaders to Saudi Arabia. People ask me why I do such controversial things. What do they all have in common?'

'I say to them: This reflects my sacred duty to present Islam as the true religion of moderation and peace. Its source is my oath as an Islamic leader to demonstrate responsible leadership in all that I do.'

Basis of Contact Islamic World

As a result of the resolution of the Conference held in Makkah on May 18, 1962, the foundation of the Association of Islamic Worlds was laid. All Islamic countries and sects are members of the Islamic world without discrimination.

General Secretariat

This executive body directly supervises the affairs and activities of the Liaison and implements the plans issued by the Liaison Supreme Council, with the assistance of the Secretary General, Secretaries, Assistants, Liaison Officers and Associates.

Financial resources

MWL is funded by the Government of Saudi Arabia. Kontakt Alam-e-Islami also relies on its endowments for its financial management. 'Endowment' investment from the contact is also a major source of income.
