The government media office in Gaza held the American administration responsible for the ongoing Israeli crimes and massacres in the Gaza Strip for 6 months until the first day of Eid al-Fitr, while medical sources reported an increase in the death toll from the war as a result of the brutal bombing of all areas of the besieged Strip.
Eid al-Fitr falls on the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip amid the continuation of brutal Israeli bombing on all areas of the Strip, and the occupation committing many massacres against civilians for the 187th day.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported, in a statement on Wednesday, that 122 martyrs and 56 injured arrived at hospitals during the last 24 hours as a result of the Israeli aggression.
Thus, the death toll from the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip rose to 33,482 martyrs and 76,49 wounded since October 7.
The Ministry stressed that "there are still a number of victims under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them."
Kill the joy of Eid
The government media office in Gaza said in a statement, “The Gaza Strip receives the happy Eid al-Fitr with more sadness, sorrow and pain, in light of the continuing crimes carried out by the Israeli occupation army, and the continuation of the war of genocide and ethnic cleansing.”
He continued: “Gaza welcomes the Eid with an increase in the number of martyrs and wounded and the occupation continuing to bomb homes and civilian institutions, the latest of which was the occupation committing a horrific massacre on the night of Eid in the Nuseirat camp (central), which claimed the lives of 14 martyrs.”
The statement stated that the occupation “continues to carry out its criminal and military actions since the morning of Eid, by flying its warplanes over the Gaza Strip and continuing to bomb its tanks, in blatant disregard for the feelings of Muslims and the feelings of our Palestinian people.”
The government media office considered that "the occupation was able to kill the joy of Eid, and deprived children, women and the people of the Gaza Strip from celebrating the atmosphere of Eid al-Fitr."
The office held the US administration and President Joe Biden responsible for the "occupation crimes", as the latter still "gives the occupation the green light, weapons and military equipment, and participates and engages in the crime of genocide against the Palestinians," according to the statement.
He called for "pressure on the criminal occupation to stop its ongoing aggression against everything Palestinian and to stop the ongoing war of ethnic cleansing."
US President Joe Biden said, in a television interview, on Tuesday: “I think what (Netanyahu) is doing is wrong... I do not agree with his approach.”
Biden added: “Therefore, what I am calling for is for the Israelis to implement an immediate ceasefire, and allow, during the next six or eight weeks, full access to all food and medicine entering the country.”
On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed his determination to launch a ground attack on Rafah, saying: “No force in the world will stop us.”
A series of raids
Earlier today, Wednesday, the occupation army said in a statement: “Over the last 24 hours, warplanes and air forces raided dozens of targets in various areas of Gaza.”
Medical sources reported that 14 Palestinians were killed, the majority of whom were children and women, and others were injured yesterday evening, Tuesday, in an Israeli occupation army bombing of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Eyewitnesses also said that Israeli warplanes targeted the home of the "Abu Youssef" family in the Nuseirat camp, leading to the death and injury of dozens, including children and women.
Witnesses reported that the bombing caused widespread destruction in the targeted house, and severe damage to neighboring houses. They explained that medical teams and civil defense were transporting the injured and martyrs to hospitals in the sector
One martyr and a number of others were wounded yesterday, Tuesday, in an Israeli bombing that targeted the tribal committees responsible for securing aid southeast of Gaza City.
In Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, at least one person was martyred and about 20 others were injured in an Israeli air strike that targeted a house in the area and also caused material damage to property.
A TRT news correspondent said that the occupation army is continuing its operations, pointing to artillery shelling in various areas of the Strip, while citizens are waiting for a deal that will lead to a ceasefire.
Occupation allegations
On Wednesday, the occupation army announced that it launched dozens of air strikes on various parts of the Gaza Strip, and said in a statement that its warplanes raided “dozens of targets in various areas of Gaza” during the last 24 hours.
He claimed that his raids included "military sites, rocket launchers, and tunnel openings."
He reported the outbreak of "face-to-face clashes" with Palestinian fighters in the central Gaza Strip.
The only thing left for the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip is the “Nahal” Brigade, stationed in the “Netzarim” axis, which divides the north of the Strip from its south, with the aim of preventing the displaced from returning to the north.
According to the occupation army, “a rocket was intercepted yesterday (Tuesday) from the Jabalia area towards the Kfar Azza settlement in the Gaza Strip, before it moved a warplane onto the launch pad.”
He continued: "mortar shells were also observed being fired towards our forces, which acted precisely in the Shuja'iya area (north), where a warplane raided the launch pad."
Prayer over the ruins of mosques
Today, Wednesday, Palestinians in the Gaza Strip performed Eid al-Fitr prayers on the ruins of mosques destroyed by the occupation army, in the shelter schools to which they were displaced, and in public squares in the rain.
In Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, where more than a million Palestinians were displaced, a number of displaced people performed Eid prayers in shelter schools and near the displacement tents. Eid prayers were also held on the ruins of Al-Farouq Mosque in the city.
In Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, a number of Palestinians performed Eid prayers in public squares, in light of the rain and cold weather.
The Palestinians are trying to bring joy and cheer to the hearts of children and the children of martyrs and wounded, whose homes have been destroyed and who have been displaced to shelter centers and tents.
During its ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip since October 7, the Israeli occupation completely destroyed 229 mosques, and 297 mosques partially.
