"shame on you!" Protesters shout at the US Secretary of Defense

On Wednesday, protesters from the "Code Pink" group boycotted the speech of US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, accusing him of lying to the American people about the massacres taking place in Gaza.

The voices of the protesters rose during Austin's speech at the hearing held by the Appropriations Committee of the US House of Representatives, saying: "Shame on you! Shame on you!"

The protesters accused Austin of lying to the Americans about the massacres in Gaza, and one of the female protesters said that the United States was responsible for the destruction of the Iranian embassy in Damascus.

The protesters also stained their hands red in reference to the blood being shed in Gaza.

The security forces were finally forced to remove the protesters from the hall without clashes occurring.
