Sunak: We cannot lose sight of the situation in Ukraine because of what is happening in the Middle East

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak called for not forgetting the conflict in Ukraine against the backdrop of paying attention to the tense situation in the Middle East.

Sunak said in a joint press conference with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg during a visit to Poland and was reported by the Guardian newspaper: “Yes, in recent weeks and months, a lot of attention has been paid to the Middle East, but we cannot lose sight of the situation here in Europe.” On our continent.

The Guardian reported yesterday that the British Prime Minister intends  to provide the largest military aid package to Ukraine  since the beginning of the Russian military operation. According to the newspaper, the aid includes 400 military vehicles, 1,600 weapons, 4 million ammunition, and additional funding of 500 million pounds sterling.

It is noteworthy that the total volume of British military aid to Ukraine will reach 3 billion pounds sterling during this financial year.

Western countries, through the material, military and political support they provide to Kiev, seek to obstruct the achievement of the goals of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, but Moscow has confirmed on more than one occasion that  military operations in Donbass will not stop  until all the tasks assigned to them are achieved.
