The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday that the death toll from the Israeli war had risen to “36,50 martyrs and 81,26 injuries” since October 7.

The ministry said, in its daily report, that “the Israeli occupation is committing 7 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, of which 66 martyrs and 383 injuries were brought to hospitals during the past 24 hours,” adding that “a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.”

According to Palestinian medical sources, 4 Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house for the Dehliz family, west of the city of Rafah. Three Palestinians, including a pregnant woman, were also martyred in an Israeli bombing of a home for the Abu Shabika family in the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah, according to what medical sources at the Tal al-Sultan clinic in the city reported.

According to eyewitnesses, Israeli aircraft bombed 5 houses on Al-Khatib Street in the middle of the Yabna camp in the center of Rafah, which led to a number of casualties among passersby in the areas near the targeted houses. A Palestinian was martyred and others were injured when Israeli aircraft targeted a group of Palestinians in the Berbera camp in the center of Rafah, according to witnesses.

Since the dawn hours of Monday, Israeli artillery has intensified its bombardment of the Shaboura and Yibna camps, the Qeshta neighborhood, and the Al-Balad area south and downtown of Rafah, according to local sources and eyewitnesses.


In the central Gaza Strip, a number of Palestinians were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted the gate of an UNRWA shelter for displaced persons on Salah al-Din Street, east of the city of Deir al-Balah. Since October 7, the Israeli war on Gaza has left more than 116,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and about 10,000 missing amid massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of children and the elderly.
