Day 212 of the aggression: Israeli bombing in Rafah and targeting of the power plant in Gaza

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Sunday, that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli war on the Strip since October 7 has risen to “34,683 martyrs and 78,018 injuries,” according to its daily report.

The ministry said, "The Israeli occupation committed 3 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, of which 29 martyrs and 110 injured were brought to hospitals during the past 24 hours."

She added, "The toll of the Israeli aggression has risen to 34,683 martyrs and 78,018 injuries since last October 7," and continued: "A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them."

In this context, 3 Palestinians were injured on Sunday, in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house for the Al-Shaer family in the Al-Salam neighborhood, east of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, on the 212th day of the devastating Israeli war.

Medical sources reported that 3 were wounded in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house for the Al-Shaer family in the Al-Salam neighborhood, east of Rafah.

An Israeli raid also targeted a house for the Bahloul family in the same neighborhood, without the number of casualties or martyrs resulting from the raid being clear, according to local sources.

West of the city, Israeli occupation army helicopters opened fire on fishermen's boats, according to eyewitnesses.

In Gaza City, Israeli occupation army vehicles stationed in the Netzarim area, on Sunday, opened intense fire towards the Sheikh Ajlin neighborhood, southwest of the city, according to eyewitnesses.

The occupation army's artillery also bombed the vicinity of the power plant in Gaza and the areas of Al-Mughraqa, Al-Zahraa, and the Wadi Gaza Bridge in the central Gaza Strip, according to the same source.

Eyewitnesses reported that artillery blew up a number of houses evacuated of their residents in the town of Al-Mughraqa in the central Gaza Strip.

North of Al-Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip, an Israeli raid targeted agricultural land and another in the city of Deir Al-Balah, while two raids targeted an area north of Al-Nuseirat camp and near the entrance to the town of Al-Zawaida in the central Gaza Strip.

According to the latest toll announced by the Ministry of Health in Gaza as of Saturday, the Israeli aggression resulted in the death of 34,654 people and 77,908 injuries.

Palestinian and international warnings are mounting about a possible significant increase in the number of casualties, if Israel carries out its threat of a military invasion of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

There are about 1.4 million displaced people in Rafah, near the border with Egypt, and Tel Aviv claims that it is "the last stronghold of the Hamas movement."

Israel continues the war despite the issuance of an immediate ceasefire resolution by the UN Security Council, and despite its appearance before the International Court of Justice on charges of committing "genocide."
