US President Joe Biden said that European countries would be in danger if the Russian special operation in Ukraine succeeded.
Biden added during a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris on Saturday, "It is not just about Ukraine. The whole of Europe will be in danger. We will not allow that."
He stressed, "The United States stands firmly with Ukraine. We stand with our allies, and we stand with France. I repeat, we will not back down."
Biden also expressed his belief that the Russian Federation "will not stop at Ukraine."
At the end of February, Russian President Vladimir Putin described the allegations coming from the West that Russia was planning to attack Europe as nonsense.
Putin also constantly stressed Russia's readiness to negotiate a solution to the Ukrainian crisis , provided that the new reality on the ground and Russia's security demands are taken into account.
