10 Palestinians were martyred and others were injured on Friday evening, in an Israeli raid that targeted a house in the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, while the Civil Defense confirmed its inability to reach the injured due to the occupation’s incursion, amid reports that 1.5 million displaced people were infected with infectious diseases.
Eyewitnesses reported that medical teams, civil defense, and residents were working to search for missing persons among the rubble of the targeted house and the surrounding area, which was severely damaged.
In a related context, the Civil Defense Service in the Gaza Strip announced that it had received distress calls from citizens injured as a result of the Israeli attacks on the west of the city of Rafah, south of the Strip, but it was unable to reach them due to invading Israeli vehicles.
Muhammad Al-Mughair, Director of the Civil Defense Supply and Equipment Department, said: “We receive distress calls from injured and detainees in the Swedish village area, but we are unable to reach them due to the Israeli incursion,” adding: “When our crews headed with ambulances to rescue the injured west of Rafah, we encountered the presence of The occupation mechanisms that obstructed our arrival there.”
Earlier Friday, the Gaza Ministry of Health reported in its statistical report that “the Israeli occupation committed 8 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, including 77 deaths and 221 injuries to hospitals during the past 24 hours,” and added that “a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads.” Ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.”
The Ministry confirmed that "the toll of the Israeli aggression has risen to 36,731 martyrs and 83,530 injuries since the seventh of last October."
Medical sources at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip reported today, Friday, that two Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a civilian car in the Nuseirat camp, in the central Gaza Strip.
The sources reported that 4 Palestinians were martyred and 6 others were injured as a result of Israeli aircraft bombing a house last night for the Al-Rafati family in Al-Maghazi camp.
Another Palestinian was martyred and others were injured in a bombing that targeted a gathering of civilians in the Al-Zawaida area, which was crowded with displaced people, while a Palestinian was martyred and a number of others were injured in gunfire and shells from Israeli tanks on areas west of the city of Rafah, according to eyewitnesses.
According to medical sources at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli bombing near the Abu Holi area, south of the city of Deir Al-Balah. Five Palestinians were injured in an Israeli drone strike targeting a group of civilians in the Khuza’a area, east of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
1.5 million displaced people
On the other hand, the government media office in the Gaza Strip announced that the number of displaced people who were infected with infectious diseases as a result of repeated displacement trips as a result of the ongoing Israeli war reached about 1.5 million displaced Palestinians.
The government office said in statistics published via Telegram: “One million and 477 thousand and 748 displaced Palestinians were infected with infectious diseases as a result of displacement from different areas in the Gaza Strip,” noting that the number of displaced people inside the Strip since October 7 of this year reached two million people (out of 2.4 million people).
