Jakarta - Audio streaming service provider Spotify announced that it has provided revenue of 10 billion US dollars to the music industry by 2024.
As reported by the Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday, Spotify's VP of Music Business David Kaefer said the contribution brings the total funds Spotify has paid to the music industry to US$60 billion since the company was founded a decade ago.
"For many people, those numbers may go in one ear and out the other and they may wonder why Spotify keeps talking about it. That's because the system we've built together has worked, and where we are now is just a starting point," David said.
