Mataram - PT PLN West Nusa Tenggara Regional Main Unit has prepared 1,957 standby personnel during the momentum of Ramadan until Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriah/2025 AD.
General Manager of PLN UIW NTB Sudjarwo in Mataram, Thursday said that the officers consisted of 845 PLN personnel, as well as 1,112 outsourced personnel and work partners.
"They will be the ones tasked with monitoring and responding quickly if there are power outages during the Ramadan to Eid al-Fitr period," said Sudjarwo.
These standby personnel will be spread across various strategic points, including substations, power plants, and other important locations.
In addition to personnel, PLN also prepared 93 units of supporting equipment, 326 units of supporting vehicles, and sufficient backup materials for disruptions.
"So, we have prepared all technical and non-technical needs to ensure the electricity supply remains stable during Ramadan until Eid al-Fitr," he said.
It is predicted that the electricity system in Lombok and Tambora (Sumbawa) during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriah alert period will be in normal condition.
Specifically for the Lombok region, the peak electricity load during Eid al-Fitr is estimated to reach 335 MW, while the power supply capacity is 403 MW with an operational reserve of 68 MW.
