Jakarta - Two referees from Indonesia, Thoriq Munir Alkatiri and Bangbang Syamsudar, are very proud to have been trusted by the AFC to lead the 2025 U-20 Asian Cup in China.
Both were referee and assistant referee 1 in the Group A match between hosts China and Kyrgyzstan at the Boan Sports Centre Stadium, Shenzhen, Saturday (15/2).
"Alhamdulillah, I am trusted by AFC along with 11 other referees and 16 assistant referees including my friend Bangbang Syamsudar. Very proud and happy to be on duty at the 2025 U-20 Asian Cup. Thank you to AFC and PSSI for this opportunity," Thoriq said on the PSSI website in Jakarta Tuesday.
In the match which China won 5-2, Thoriq firmly led the match by issuing 10 yellow cards and two red cards.
