Apple delays launch of new Siri features

Jakarta - Apple has postponed the launch of the artificial intelligence-based personalization feature for Siri that was promised as part of the development of Apple Intelligence.

According to a TechCrunch release on Friday (7/3), the technology company stated that it took longer than expected to present Siri's new features on the Apple Daring Fireball blog.

The company now anticipates launching these new features in the “coming year.”

The latest series was first announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) last year.

At the time, Apple CEO Tim Cook said the Siri update was intended to improve the digital assistant by adding the ability to understand a user's personal context, such as their relationships, communications, and routines.

Cook calls this improvement not just artificial intelligence, but "personal intelligence."
