Jakarta - Deputy Minister of Investment and Downstream/Deputy Head of the Investment Coordinating Board Todotua Pasaribu held a meeting with PT Philips Indonesia Commercial to discuss plans for investing in health technology.
Todotua explained on his official Instagram account in Jakarta, Wednesday, that the meeting was held between his party and the Dutch Ambassador to Indonesia Marc Gerritsen, as well as the Chief of International Region of Philips Ozlem Fidance, and the management of PT Philips Indonesia Commercial.
"We discussed the investment plans that Philips will undertake in the health technology manufacturing sector, which focuses on innovation in improving the quality of health," he said.
The meeting took place at the office of the Ministry of Investment and Downstream/BKPM, Jakarta, on March 4.
Furthermore, he said, his party supports the investment plan that Philips will undertake to ensure sustainable development in the country.
"As Deputy Minister of Investment and Downstream/Deputy Head of BKPM, I support the investment steps that Philips will take to ensure sustainable development," he also said.
Previously, the Minister of Investment and Downstream/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan Roeslani had invited 35 delegations of French companies that are members of the international business association from France (MEDEF) to invest in the new and renewable energy (EBT) sector in Indonesia.
