Jakarta - Basketball player Gracin Bakumanya Bolongi has become Satya Wacana Salatiga's new weapon in competing in the 2025 Indonesian Basketball League after replacing Jailan Jakai Haslem who was released by the club two weeks ago.
The IBL page in Jakarta on Saturday stated that the club projected Bakumanya to help Ikcaven Savalianta Curry and Marquis Davison, who have become coach Jerry Lolowang's mainstay in gaining points.
Haslem is considered unable to meet the coach's expectations because he only contributed an average of 3.8 points per game (ppg), 4.4 rebounds per game (rpg), and 1.2 assists per game (apg) in 10 games.
The basketball player's shooting accuracy is also worse than his two fellow foreign players, with only 38.7 percent of shots and 25 percent from the three-point line, making the club want to replace him.
Meanwhile, Bakumanya, who hails from Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, is believed to be able to play the role.
