Jakarta - The Indonesian Railways Limited Liability Company Operational Area 1 Jakarta recorded 875,491 tickets sold from 1,048,610 seats provided during the Eid transportation period from March 21 to April 11, 2025.
"The number of train trips (KA) is 1,876 (including additional trains) with an average of 85 trains per day. For the available seats, there are 1,048,610 seats and 875,491 seats have been sold," said KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Public Relations Manager, Ixfan Hendriwintoko, in Jakarta, Tuesday.
PT KAI noted that as of today, there were 24,677 people who wanted to board from DAOP 1 and 49,846 passengers got off at DAOP 1 with an occupancy rate reaching 52 percent.
According to him, this figure shows a downward trend after the 2025 Eid homecoming season. This is in line with the end of the long Eid holiday and also Nyepi 2025 which has occurred since the end of last month.
He said that during the return flow season, his party noted that in the period 4-7 April 2025, the average daily arrival was above 50 thousand passengers.
