Jakarta - Fadly Alberto and Zahaby Gholy led the Indonesian U-17 national team to a 2-0 lead over Yemen in the Group C match of the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup at the Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sport City Stadium, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Monday.
Zahaby Gholy scored in the 15th minute. Ten minutes later, a kick from Fadly Alberto was able to bring Garuda Muda two goals ahead of Yemen.
With this position, Indonesia temporarily has the opportunity to lead the Group C standings, if it is able to maintain the scoreboard and secure three full points.
The result will also most likely bring Nova Arianto's team one step closer to securing a ticket to the 2025 U-17 World Cup.
