Jakarta - The Indonesian U-17 national team won two goals without reply over Yemen in the first half of the Group C match of the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup at the Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sport City Stadium, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Monday night WIB.
In that match, Indonesia appeared confident and pressed since the early minutes of the match. Even so, Yemen's tight defense was very difficult to penetrate by Indonesian attackers.
Indonesia only took the lead in the 15th minute through a long-range shot from Zahaby Gholy. Gholy fired a hard shot from outside the penalty box that took advantage of a loose ball, Gholy's shot could not be reached by Yemeni goalkeeper Wessam Al Asbahi.
