Inspirational at a young age, this social entrepreneur won the Puspa Nawasena.




 Social entrepreneur and Daily Chair of the Pelita Bangsa Inclusion Foundation Cahaya Manthovani received the Puspa Nawasena award at the 2025 Puspa Bangsa Awards organized by Kompas TV for being considered an inspiring young woman.

Quoted from a press release, Tuesday, Cahaya won the award because it was deemed to have made a real contribution in creating a social impact for the community.

"Becoming Puspa Nawasena is a gift and a mandate. This is not just an appreciation, but also a reminder that the struggle to create a just, equal, and inclusive space is still very long," said Cahaya.

The woman born in Jakarta, July 7, 1999, is active in various social, educational, advocacy, and community empowerment activities. One of her contributions is supporting the Free Nutritious Meal program initiated by the Government.

Through the Pelita Bangsa Inclusion Foundation, Cahaya distributes nutritious food to 1,500 students and teachers at 11 Special Schools (SLB) in the Tangerang City area, Banten.
