Actress Nikita Willy emphasized the importance of parents getting their children used to making their own decisions as early as possible because it can affect their growth and development.
"I think this (the habit of making decisions on your own) is very important, it's important that as parents we respect what he chooses," said Nikita when met by ANTARA after attending a press conference in Jakarta, Monday.
Nikita said that this method would help the child learn to choose what he wants and feel more appreciated, although it is often in practice contrary to what the parents want.
According to him, it would be better if parents could provide an opportunity and only provide comments or suggestions if the child makes the wrong decision.
