Pediatric dentist who graduated from the University of Indonesia, drg. Aliyah, Sp.KGA confirmed that the strength and structure of a child's teeth is one of the things that can be passed down genetically.
"That's true because (the strength and structure of children's teeth) is passed down genetically," said Aliyah after attending a press conference in Jakarta, Monday.
Aliyah explained that since the time they are still embryos, the formation of a child's teeth and jaw has a 50:50 chance of following the shape inherited from the father or mother.
