Fenerbahce coach Jose Mourinho has been handed a three-match ban and a fine for "unsporting behavior" during this week's heated Turkish Cup clash with Galatasaray.
Officially: The Turkish Football Federation suspends Mourinho after the "nose pinch" incident.
The Portuguese coach appeared to be pinching Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk's nose after his team was eliminated from the Turkish Cup round of 16 last Wednesday.
In footage widely circulated on social media, Mourinho was seen reaching out to his opponent and touching his nose, before Burak fell to the ground clutching his face before Mourinho was removed.
The Turkish Football Federation's Disciplinary Board deemed Mourinho's suspension to apply to cup matches, allowing the Portuguese coach to be present with his team for Sunday's league match against Trabzonspor.
Fenerbahce midfielders Ferid and Mert Hakan Yandas received three-match and one-match bans respectively.
Fenerbahçe's assistant coach and goalkeeper coach were also suspended for four matches, while sporting director Mario Branco was fined.
