Uzbekistan wins 2025 U-17 Asian Cup after beating Saudi Arabia 2-0.

The Uzbekistan national football team won the 2025 Saudi Arabia U-17 Asian Cup, after silencing the hosts in front of their own fans with a score of 2-0, in the final match at the King Fahd Sports City Stadium, Taif,

In the final match, Uzbekistan coached by Islombek Ismoilov opened the scoring through defender Mukhammad Khakimov in the 51st minute and the second goal was scored by striker Sadiridin Khasanov in the 70th minute.

A fierce duel was presented since the beginning of the match. Saudi Arabia immediately spread intense threats since the early minutes.

One of them was through Abudlhadi Matari in the 7th minute. But unfortunately, his hard kick was still caught by Uzbekistan goalkeeper Nematulloh Rustamjonov.

Responding to that, Islombek's team did not remain silent. They also often got golden opportunities, including in the 14th minute through Nurbek Sansernbaev's movement.

However, his pass from the right side towards the goal mouth could not be met by any of his teammates. After that, both teams attacked each other aggressively.

Instead of producing a goal, disaster befell Uzbekistan.

Their mainstay striker, Sansernbaev, was sent off by the referee in the 39th minute, after kicking the opposing defender, Adel Hibah.

The attacker acted unsportsmanlike after being tackled by an opponent. Not accepting his movement being stopped by the Saudi Arabian defender, the attacker with the number 9 on his back kicked his opponent's face, so he was sanctioned by the referee.
