Instant messaging application WhatsApp presents updates in Chat, Calls, and Channels to improve the user experience in sending messages and making calls.
In its official statement on Friday, WhatsApp announced a number of new features aimed at providing more convenient chat and call services and improving the experience of using Channels.
Updates on Chat
The online marker feature in group chats is presented so that users can see how many people are online in real-time . This marker is displayed right below the group name.
The spotlight notification feature in groups is set up to prioritize group chat notifications.
Users can tap the “Notify me for” setting and then select “Highlights” to limit notifications to @mentions, replies, and messages from saved contacts, or select “All” to receive all notifications.
In addition to creating events in groups, users can now create events within individual conversations.
