A new truce violation: An Israeli drone targets civilian rooms in a town in southern Lebanon.

The National News Agency reported that the targeted rooms were built on the rubble of homes destroyed in the recent Israeli war and were used by a number of civilians.

The bombing comes amid daily Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon, despite a ceasefire agreement in effect since late last year, while Israel continues to occupy five major Lebanese hills.

On October 8, 2023, Israel launched an aggression against Lebanon, which escalated into a full-scale war on September 23, 2024, resulting in more than 4,000 deaths and approximately 17,000 injuries, in addition to the displacement of approximately 1.4 million people.

Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on November 27, Israel has committed more than 3,000 violations, leaving at least 203 dead and 500 wounded, according to an Anadolu Agency tally based on official data.
