Al-Houthi: 1,712 US airstrikes on Yemen since mid-March... and we inflicted heavy losses on Washington.

The group stated, in a video broadcast by its Al Masirah satellite channel, that "the American enemy has mobilized the aircraft carriers Truman and Vinson, for the first time in the region, using B-2 stealth aircraft and B-52 bombers."

She explained that "Yemen (the Houthis) carried out more than 131 operations with 253 ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic missiles and drones, as part of operations to support Gaza and confront the American aggression."

The Houthis indicated that they "inflicted heavy losses on the American enemy, including the downing of eight MQ-9 drones and an F360 reconnaissance aircraft, in addition to intercepting stealth aircraft for the first time, and F-18 fighters, forcing them to withdraw from airspace."

She reported that "the aircraft carrier Truman was subjected to 24 declared operations that forced it to flee to the far north of the Red Sea, and to be supported by the aircraft carrier Visnon."

The group said, "The Truman remains a symbol of American failure, despite the great secrecy surrounding the losses file, as two F-18s were announced downed in just one week."

She stated that "the cost of the aggressive war (to the United States) exceeded $3 billion, in addition to direct losses that exceeded $1 billion."

She added, "Despite all the American support aimed at supporting the Israeli enemy and halting Yemeni operations toward the Zionist heartland, the Yemeni forces (the Houthis) carried out qualitative operations, most notably targeting Ben Gurion Airport and the Nevatim bases."

She stressed that "all these operations led the Americans to failure, and they recently announced a halt to their operations in Yemen in exchange for not targeting their ships in the Red Sea, with Omani mediation."

On Tuesday evening, the Sultanate of Oman announced the success of its mediation efforts between Washington and the Houthi group, which resulted in a ceasefire agreement between the two sides.

The Omani announcement came hours after US President Donald Trump confirmed a truce agreement with the Houthis, brokered by Muscat, that stipulates the group will halt its attacks on US ships in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab Strait in exchange for an end to the US air campaign against its positions in Yemen.

In contrast, the Houthi group clarified that the agreement does not include Israel, and that its operations against it will continue in support of Gaza until the Israeli genocide against Palestinian civilians stops.

The Houthis have resumed targeting sites inside Israel and ships heading there via the Red Sea, in response to Tel Aviv's resumption of its war of extermination against Palestinians in Gaza since March 18.

With full American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 172,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing.
