Chairman of the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) Muhammad Arif Angga assessed that the ease of licensing from authorities at the lowest level encourages internet service providers (ISPs) to expand their services to the regions.
Arif highlighted the obstacles faced by ISPs in providing internet services in the regions due to the time-consuming bureaucratic process for licensing.
"The government should start from there, have a mindset to collaborate with existing industry stakeholders ," said Arif in a media meeting .
