PlayStation 5 (PS5) users can now buy games on the PlayStation Store using a new payment method, Apple Pay, which allows users to scan a QR code on the TV screen to complete a payment transaction on the iPhone.The Verge page, reported that users could already use Apple Pay on a browser or via a mobile application, but now this method joins other options on the console such as using a stored credit or debit card, and PayPal.Users can now see a new option for Apple Pay available at checkout. This uses the QR code method that Apple introduced on iOS 18 last year, and also allows users to buy goods on third-party browsers such as Chrome.
