Women's doubles Apriyani Rahayu/Febi Setianingrum will use the one-day break for light training and evaluation to face the last 16 of the Malaysia Masters at the Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur.
In the second round, they will face Taiwanese pair Hsu Ya‑ching/Sung Yu‑hsuan who defeated their compatriots, Hu Ling‑fang/Jheng Yu‑chieh, with 21‑18, 21‑13.
"Tomorrow there is a holiday, we will use it for training. We prepare anything that still needs to be fixed to stay focused," said Apriyani in a written statement from PP PBSI in Jakarta, Tuesday.
Apriyani/Febi started the 2025 Malaysia Masters with a hard-fought 11-21, 21-17, 21-19 win over fourth seeds Li Yi Jing/Luo Xu Min from China.
Apriyani/Febi recovered from being 11-21 behind in the first game and closed the next two games with 21-17, 21-19 thanks to intense communication on the court.
"We were confused about what pattern was right, but we continued to discuss it with the coach and finally found the right rhythm," said Apriyani.
