Bank Indonesia (BI) emphasized the importance of institutional transformation of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) to be more inclusive, innovative and have a real impact, as part of efforts to strengthen the resilience and strategic role of member countries in the global financial architecture.
According to Perry, as stated in a press release received in Jakarta, Friday, in the midst of a changing world, IsDB also needs to change.
He also expressed his full support for the 2026-2035 Strategic Framework .
Perry, while leading the Indonesian delegation at the 50th IsDB Annual Meeting held on 19-22 May 2025 in Algiers, Algeria, said the framework was relevant to the Astacita vision which is the foundation of the direction of national development under the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto.
