Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Nezar Patria said that developing historical tourism by utilizing digital platforms and creating historical content about national heroes can reach the younger generation and tourists effectively.
According to him, a technology-based storytelling approach such as a digital guided tour with map integration and short videos could be a new way to introduce history in an interesting way.
"Maybe we combine the virtual with the real. Let's say we create a tour guide platform , with tourism and historical knowledge at the same time. This is experience -based heritage tourism ," said Nezar in his statement.
