Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Angga Raka Prabowo asked the electronic system organizer (PSE) Meta to actively monitor the activities of groups formed on its platform and close access to groups that are proven to contain deviant content such as pornography.
In addition to asking Meta to actively close groups that contain misleading content, Angga also asked the digital platform to actively coordinate with law enforcement officers to then be able to reveal the masterminds behind the negative content.
"There have been several similar groups that we have successfully identified and have been blocked directly. However, this is not enough. I have asked Meta to continue updating data and closely monitor the potential for similar groups to appear on their platform," he said.
